Today is April 24Th... My mom and dad have a 30 ft. tree laying across their driveway.
I guess there is a crazy storm working it's way through CO causing a lot of people a lot of trouble! Jim is staying in Denver for the night, as well as some of my parents friends. Mom and Dad, I hope the power comes back on soon ! Everybody drive carefully and stay cozy!

We finally got our power back on around 5:45 tonight. It was out about 48 hours...good thing it came back on because we were out of dry kindling and the dining room chairs might have been next! We are beginning to thaw now... gotta love spring time in the Rockies!
Oh my gosh! That is nuts! I'm glad it is back on...were there others in the area out?
Most of Elizabeth town proper had power back in about 12 hours. Our area and at least as far north as Michelle's house (my boss) was down for 48 hours. I don't know if Jim and Jill lost power.
We lost power for about 15 minutes (and we weren't even home when it was out).....I guess we live at the right end of Road 21. Of course, Jim had to park about 1/4 mile from home and walk back home because of the 3 foot drift at the end of the driveway. Today it's 80 plus degrees!
