Grandstreet Theatre

Last nights show was great! I saw Fiddler on the Roof with Keri and Dana . This theatre is so cool. It is also cozy and intimate (unfortunately meaning hot and stinky) I love theatres where you are so close you don't have to squint to see people.... It was awesome! The music was good and it was cool to see a lot of familiar faces in the cast!

A snowy April

Today is April 24Th... My mom and dad have a 30 ft. tree laying across their driveway.
I guess there is a crazy storm working it's way through CO causing a lot of people a lot of trouble! Jim is staying in Denver for the night, as well as some of my parents friends. Mom and Dad, I hope the power comes back on soon ! Everybody drive carefully and stay cozy!

Happy Birthday Andrew!

Whitney posted the bunny ears...I wanted to show a different, more masculine side to my brother-in-law , Andrew. These were from Jody and Whitney's wedding . Andrew is the mob boss in the background.
A big huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY from the MT Duvalls!!

Holy Health Insurance, Batman!

This last week, the left side of my jaw has been swollen and hurting... So, with my new Insurance card in hand, I went to the doctor!

She told me that I had a stone blocking a salivary gland back by my molars. She set me up with a ear, nose, and throat doctor in May but was pretty positive that it would work itself out before then.

I have been feeling better today and the swelling has gone down a lot, so I'm thinking my spit back-up is over! YEA!
My suffering gland is the one by my ear.

GO NUGS!

Jordan has been dancing around the house all day in anticipation of tonight's Nuggets game. It is game one of the playoffs! His enthusiasm is darling.

GO NUGGETS!

Becca's Breakdown of the game thus far: " I like Iverson's rows better than Melo's tonight"

Just Tucked Away

Last week, Jordan pulled out his Tiger Woods book, How I Play Golf.

That's funny in and of it's self, but also funny was the fact that tucked inside was an autographed photo of Johnnie Boy , just hanging out. He said, "Oh yea, I forgot I had that."

So, we decided to take it our of hiding ... We're thinking of putting it on our wall, between our wedding picture and family photos. That seems like the only appropriate place to put it.

American Idol

According to my brother, Kelly Clarkson "is the only American Idol". So, I apologize for my endorsement of BLAKE LEWIS to be the new American Idol.

He is who is singing currently on this blog - He is unique, funky, and just plain cool. I want him to be my friend. Jordan and I have gotten utterly addicted to this season and are crossing our fingers for Blake. We also like Melinda and Chris Richardson (bc he is a J. Timberlake clone) .

March Birthdays

It has been brought to my attention that I did not post some of the March Birthdays including:
-My Father-in-Law, Jim's
-My Dad
-My Mom
-My Husband
I hope I have not offended anyone, and I hope that everyone had wonderful Birthdays! :) I love all of you very much!
and with that, my next post will be a birthday post for Wallace....

Wallace = 2 Years Old

Today is Wallace's 2nd birthday! So to celebrate we took him for a good, long, ball-throwing extravaganza! And gave him an extra scoop of food and scratched his belly .... lucky boy. We just love this little guy and cannot imagine our lives without him. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISTER WALLACE!

A Happy Easter, Indeed!

These Easter goodies were sent all the way from the Boston -area Easter Bunny! Thanks again Todd!

We spent Saturday driving to Bozeman to deliver some wine for Jordan's work...It'a a lovely and charming little town with lots of really cute boutiques!
Today we went to church, took the pup our for a run, ate a ham feast, and cleaned the house.
It was such a beautiful day in Helena today, and a wonderfully quiet Easter with my Husband and our doggie.

Happy Easter

But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.
"Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.' "

Lipgloss

My boss, Laura went to NYC this weekend for the Bumble & Bumble National Assembly . She said the Sephora store in Times Square was open until midnight and she brought me back some lipgloss...made by BECCA! I was so excited. still am. BECCA.

Duvall's Visit!!!

We had such a great weekend having Ma and Pa Duvall up to visit! They made it here on Saturday afternoon and we had lunch, then went all around town to refresh Jim's memory of the area (last time he was here was when we moved and he left the next day at 3 am to get back home). We drove to Marysville to dine at Marysville House , where we ate some really yummy seafood (who would've thought in MT?) We played hearts, shopped, ate, did some taxes, ate some more, and watched basketball. Thank you so much for coming to visit, we had a blast! Hope you are having a ball on the second stretch to SLC! These pics are from our hike to the top of Mount Helena .

Wallace was nice enough to "relieve" himself at the very beginning of our hike so I ended up carrying his baggie all the way up to the top and back down... Note: Mount Helena 1906 Trail needs trash recepticles !
