Long story short - I need to learn how to drive our Honda, which is what I call a "shifty" car. Jordan will be needing to skip around town a lot more than I will this Summer, so the time has come to learn the shifter!
We took it out to the Fair Grounds and gave her a go - It went very well for the first time and there were no tears shed, or bad words coming out of either of our mouths! We actually giggled more than anything. I didn't quite have it well enough to drive us home, but it was a great first run! Jordan showed great patience, which is sometimes saying a lot :)

This reminds me of when Jessie was learning to stick shift while Jordan was in the car....he moaned loudly from the back seat, "I'm too young to die!" So don't take any grief off him!!
Jordan told me that story while we were practicing! Too funny !
