Weekend- COME TO ME!

WOOOO HOOOO ITS FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!

The last couple of weeks Jordan and I have been working on weight-loss goals. For Jordan, its more "weight change" (fat-to-muscle) than weight-loss - for me its good old, "lose weight" . We did the whole, "get married and gain ten pounds" thing and ITs OVER!!!!! We have been working our regularly, and eating much better. I'm really happy to say it's been working !! Anyway, that's been a lot of our focus lately-

I expect we will bbq tonight or tomorrow with Bob and Dana and learn how to play Bocce Ball- I asked Jordan to pick what we got Bob and Dana for their wedding and of course he chose the only thing even relatively "sportsy". So, that should be buckets of fun-

The Ball and Chain

We had the best time at Bob and Dana's wedding! Everything went really well and we did not forget the words to our song! The reception was great: Great food, great music, great friends, beautiful scenery...everything! Here are some pictures:Dana's side of the family at the reception, held at Ed and Linda's House.

Wedding Weekend!

The last couple of days have been crazy and busy! Bob and Dana are getting married TODAY!!

Thursday: Jordan and I went to their separate bachelor/bachelorette parties - We each had a blast meeting all their family and friends.

It's funny because all her family was asking me "where are you from" meaning where did you fly in from for the wedding....I just can't bring myself to say, I'm from Helena. So then I go through the whole shpeal - I'm from Colorado, moved here, and Dana won't let us move back :) Blah, Blah, Blah

Friday: Worked right up until we had to go to the church for Rehearsal. Rehearsal dinner at Bert & Ernies. Got to hold babies. Went home and practiced our song for a little while (going to go smoothly, i hope)

Saturday: Iron my dress, go work out?, charge camera battery, go to church at one to work with the sound system, dana and bob get married at four. PARTAY (and hold babies) ! It was so nice of them to include us in their big day!

Amazing Fathers

Jordan and I wanted to tell our Vater's how much we love them - So, Daddy Blackham and Daddy Duvall, WE LOVE YOU!!! I really miss being home for these kind of days, not because anything earth-shattering happens, but because I miss getting up, making breakfast (Eggs Benedict in our household), and just spending the day hanging with my pops. We love you both and really miss being around to "just hang out". All our love-

First Lesson in "Shifty" Cars

Long story short - I need to learn how to drive our Honda, which is what I call a "shifty" car. Jordan will be needing to skip around town a lot more than I will this Summer, so the time has come to learn the shifter!

We took it out to the Fair Grounds and gave her a go - It went very well for the first time and there were no tears shed, or bad words coming out of either of our mouths! We actually giggled more than anything. I didn't quite have it well enough to drive us home, but it was a great first run! Jordan showed great patience, which is sometimes saying a lot :)

Jealousy

Jim and Jill and the Shiers have spent the week in Mazatlan, Mexico. I have been annoying Jordan all week by asking,

"How do you think the flights went?"
"Oh my gosh, i bet they're there now!"
"Think they're ordering supper in the room, or at the restaurant?"
"Any sunburns yet?"
"I wonder if they're painting pottery."
"Think they've tried the Emerald Bay Nachos?"
"I wonder if they're sad its Friday and they have to leave tomorrow?"


I actually started annoying myself. I hope they had an amazing time and hope there were no catastrophic sunburns! I cannot wait to go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dana's Bridal Shower

Last night I attended Dana's Bridal Shower! It was held at Linda's House (they used to house Bob when he played hockey). There were more guest than are in the pictures, but they all pooped out early :) It was such a good time, as it always is hanging our with these ladies!

Dana has really been put through the wringer as far as wedding plans go...to explain I will list the what has gone wrong:

1. Hotel promised many things (like a contract) , did not deliver. As of Monday, not having reception there. Wedding is in two weeks.

2. Went to try on dress. Dress was accidentally sent out for alterations (with a different bride's measurements)

3. D.J. cancelled (he forgot his family reunion was that weekend)

4. Flowers Cancelled

5. Cake people cancelled. Found somebody else, don't worry.

So, this is the short and condensed version - Ed and Linda (Bob's Billet Parents) have lent their house and property for the reception, and it will be awesome! Jordan and I are singing at their wedding which should be interesting. I really can't wait! Anywho, count your blessings and be happy because our days a too numbered to sulk.... XOXOXOXOX

The weather is poopy. So, we're watching the 2001 official Commemorative Avalanche Video... Jordan is in tears.
