Travis picked the right girl, and all is well in the world!! He restored my faith in "The Bachelor"... Man, ABC sure does do a great job of editing these shows, b/c i kept going back and forth, but in the end Sarah won! She is one of the most classy girls I've seen o nthis show in a long time! I LOVE HER! and so does TRAVIS!!! Good luck to you both!

Who's He Gonna Pick??!?!?!

Who is Travis gonna pick? Tonight is the Season Finale of the Bachelor!! My rommies and I just ate a lovely dinner and are now huddled around the T.V. to see who Travis is going to pick!
Will it be:
SARAH S. The super-cute kindegarten teacher from Travis' home of Nashville, Sarah has the best hair in the competition, and is hands-down the classiest of all the ladies! TRAVIS SHE'S THE ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
or will it be stupid, emotionally unstable Moana?
We will find out soon enough, and I will be sure to let you know how I feel about the outcome! I'm so sick of the bachelors picking the wrong girl (i have sworn off the bachelor three times, but always come crawling back) Travis, make us proud!

A website you HAVE to check out!!!
My roommate recently showed me this website that we think is a comapny that takes celebrity photos and retouches them.... If you need an ego boost go here a check out celebrity pics before they have been retouched!! AMAZING! http://www.fluideffect.com/index2.html You have to agree not to reprint pics before entering the site, thus the reason for not just posting thier ugly faces on here! The best ones are under "Portfolio" on the left-hand menu...it really knocked my socks off!

And so it begins!

And so it begins... Have you ever recieved a forwarded e-mail from a friend and searched all the names that it was sent to, just to find yours? Well, I'm a weirdo and do this from time to time... And to my surprise, my hairstylist/friend Christy put in "Becca Duval" into her saved contact info! This was the first time it has happened an caught me a little off guard! It's spelled wrong, but thats ok! Just thought I'd share that with all of you!

Going home!
Today I am going home to Elizabeth! It has been a very long week. It has been both relly good, and really stressful, but it's Friday and I'm headed to the place where all my stress melts away!
I'm going home to visit the new puppy, Bandit, and I also get to see both of my Aunts and maybe a cousin/M.O.H. if I'm lucky!!! YIPPIE!! And then tomorrow, my mom and I are taking care of some super-secret wedding dress stuff. (It's not a huge secret, but anything concerning my dress is a secret to Jordan.) Oh man, so exciting! On Sunday I wil head back up to get going on a speech I need to write! Thats the kind of homework I like! Anywho! Have a gret weekend everyone, be safe, and I'll blog atcha later!
This is a bonus picture that always puts a smile on my face! This is Jordan's dog William Wallace, that is now like a million pounds...and was barking at the microwave yesterday. Jordan was howling yeasterday (don't ask me why) and Wallace has appantly learned how to mimic howling and was howling and howling and howling....(kind of like travis used to do, for those that knew travis) Ok, peace out!

Back to Reality...

With a Valentine's Day that started with this cute-as-can-be card attatched to the left hand of my fiance and Salsita's Burrito in his right hand, I knew it was going to be a great one! Thank you so much, Jordan, for suprising me and being so sweet to me and also for the ROW 4 AVALANCHE TICKETS!
After this fun-filled morning, Jordan and I went to walk Wallace, and when we got back, both of my roommates had left for the day...I did not have my keys to the house. So, like he does this all the time, Jordan scaled the side of my townhome and broke into my roommates window and saved the day. YEA JORDAN! He's the VALENTINE'S DAY HERO! Then later that night we went to Hibachi Japanese Steakhouse with Jody and Whitney which was absolutely delicious!!! What a great Valentine's Day! It really lived up to the (my) hype, as always....
When I got back to my house for the night I found a package from my parents that was AMAZING!! I love you guys so much!!
As for tonight, it's back to the reality of poverty... For dinner I whipped up minute white rice, mixed with canned cream corn, with my wine glass filled with milky-milk-milk. Oh geeze if Oprah (doesn't eat white food) could see me now, she would have a cow! Goodnight everybody, sleep tight.

Today is the day we've all been waiting for!!!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE's DAY TO ONE AND ALL!!!!
Man, what a great day! Today is especially great because my only class for today was cancelled so all I have on the docket is going to work at 4 o'clock and then HIBACHI!!!!!!
I love Valentine's day, yesterday I was walking to my car after school and I was walking behind this cute cute cute couple. They looked like they had just begun dating, and maybe like this had been their first experience at dating, and then out of nowhere he got into his backpack (which was on wheels) and pulled out this beautiful rose and gave it to her....She was SO excited and they stopped in the middle of the parking lot to hug... I unfortunately had to walk past because A) They did not know I was stalking them and B) I was not invited to share in this great Valentines Day moment. Anyway folks, that's what Valentine's Day is all about. Sharing moments, not necessarily romantic, with those that are involved in your life.
I sent out "Lovely Love Songs vol. II" yesterday, so to those living in CO, you should be getting it today or tomorrow. I was definitely behind the power curve, I should've sent then last week. My lesson has been learned. Todd, yours is coming, I waited until the Girl Scout Cookies came in to send it!!!! Let me know what you think of the CDs I really like this year's...but that's just me! I love you all so very much, not only today, but EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR!!!!

Girl Scout Cookie Time!!
Ladies and Gentleman, last night kicked off the first round of Girl Scout Cookie ordering. If you have ordered cookies from any little girl scout, you should be getting them very soon!!!
The reason I know this is because this year I offered to be the "cookie mom" for my friends Erin and Chicago... They are the leaders of Girl Scout Troop #355. My job has turned in to "cookie helper" because
I have none of the credentials that would make me a "cookie mom" and because there are certain duties I can't perform since I am not the leader, so I am basically an extra helping hand! It has been SO fun to be a part of this cute little troop! They sold the second most cookies in Fort Collins!!! AMAZING! To prove to you all how many cookies we were dealing with last night, here are some pictures. This is Jordan's station wagon (thanks for switching me darling) Yup, I was in charge of the Thin Mints!! It was awesome! We had this car, two SUV's, and mini-van, and a sedan carrying all the cookies!
This is a picture of Erin and Chicago's living room, after we had split up the cookies by who sold what.
This was the work of Erin, great architecture!
It was a fun night lifting cookies, and doing math, and spending time with my old dorm buddies! You guys are the best!

Mom and Pop's new boy!

Here are a couple pics of my mom and dad's new puppy! They are going to either call him Buddy or Bandit! Probably Bandit, because well, he looks like a bandit! He is a long-haired Dachshund and is 10 weeks old....SO CUTE! Gunter can never be replaced but I know that Bandit will be a new and fun adventure for my mom and dad as well as the rest of us! I can't wait to see him next weekend !
Word to the wise Bandit... Yes, Railton really does smell that bad, and yes, Lenny really is the Queen of the proprety and very much in charge!
I love you all!!

Advanced Public Speaking...
For Jordan and My advanced public speaking class, we are required to perform a one-minute poem of our choice that demonstrates any number of different stylistic devices. We could not choose any Children poems, which I was totally bummed about b/c I wanted to do Shel Silverstiens, "Ebenezzer Bleezer" (Todd, to totally could rock that one!) So, because Dr. Burgchardt has shattered my dreams once again, I'm am reciting "O'Captain, My Captain" by Walt Whitman. (That's for you Daddy) I chose this because when I was in the sixth grade I spent a lot of time in my dad's English classroom and saw it on a project so many times I have it pretty much memorized. Yes, and that was the year I also memorized the Gettysburg Address. I'm a nerd.
Jordan is doing "Red Red Rose" by the great Robert Burns. (the most famous Scottish poet EVER) He asked me, "Hey Bec, are you gonna do a poem by that guy, uh, Robert Blake?" and with a HUGE eye roll, I corrected him and then told him no because my Scottish accent is not where it should be, and to do a Robert Burns poem without a good Scottish accent would get me kicked out of the Clan FOREVER! So, Jordan is going to give it a go! Good luck buddy, pressure is on!

SO many things going on!!
I'm sorry, everyone, who has been checking my blog to find that nothing has changed :( I have been overhwelmingly busy! It has finally hit me (and I think Jordan too) that going to school, going to work, and getting married is alot to handle. Especially Jordan, who on top of all that, is also at the beck and call of not one but two hockey teams right now! Life is crazy right now, but so good all at the same time. I'd love to keep bloggin but i have to go back to work for my 2nd shift of the day! I will blog tonight when i get home!
P.S. Hang in there Mom and Dad, and know that I love you both more that you will ever understand.

Out with the Grills!
This is Cansas, Rachel and Myself on the streets of Fort Collins.
This weekend, one of my best friends in the whole wide world (Rachel) drove up to Fort Collins to see Cansas and I and to order bridesmaid dresses! So after that, we went to the Rio for dinner and Margaritas!!! SO MUCH FUN! I love these girls and it makes me miss High School when it was so convenient to see them! We had so much fun bar hopping and laughing and watching Rachel kick butt at air hockey! I love you girls!

1st Day of the "LOVE Month"!

Well Happy 1st day of February! This is the LOVE month. (incase you were unaware) It is especially special to me and my betrothed (more me, less my betrothed), because this is the month that Jordan won my heart...forever. We will celebrate 4 years of dating at the end of the month! Yea! Anyway, enought tooing my own "love" horn...
The purpose of this blog entry is to let everyone know that the second installment of "Lovely Love Songs" is being compiled right this moment. For those of you who are umfamiliar, I create an album of my favorite love songs from the year before and send it out to my family and friends...Last year was the first year and I see that this could get to be a significantly bigger endeavor this year! YIPPIE! (Whitney, Jessie, and Jill, be expecting one!) The songs that touched me the most, the songs that got me through 'til the next Valentine's Day. Songs from way back, songs from today, all about love. I'll remind you of some of last years selections:
I Just Called to Say I Love you...Stevie Wonder
Collide...Howie Day
How Do I Love Her...Steven Curtis Chapman
He is the Love...David Crowder
...oh man, the list goes on! good stuff...
Ok, well be looking forward to that ladies and gentleman. And if you have any suggestions, wait, who am i kidding? This is my list, make ur own :)

One more year!
Not that I was doubting that I would, but according to my academic adviser I will indee
d graduate on time, a year from now! I met with Michelle Holling, my adviser, second semester of my freshman year and have not seen her since. Partially due to laziness and feeling like I knew what I was doing, were the reasons I did not feel the need to see her. She was pretty impressed that having not seen her for two years, I had stayed right on track. This time next year, I will be a graduate from somewhere, hopefully CSU... Although it may be from somewhere else depending on where jordan and my "marital adventures" take us! I will ALWAYS be a RAM!
