Advanced Public Speaking

Jordan and I are both enrolled in Avanced Public Speaking! Yahoo! Anyway, our first assignment is to tell a fairy tale in our own words including facial expression, gestures, and character voices... Using no notes, and conforming to a 3-4 min. time limit. Ok, this is super, no prob. Only problem is the 3-4 min. time limit. I am here in my room and I keep telling myself "The Little Mermaid" but it keeps taking me like 6 minutes! I'm gonna have to cut something out!

Jordan is doing some, "Ricky-Ticky Tumbo, No Sir Umbo" story that I've never heard in my life! But, Jordan is the king of speech class, so he will be just fine, i know it!

Nope, not the only kids...big sis knows the rikki-tikki-tembo-no-sarembo-cherri-berri-roochi-pip-perry-pembo story too (or however the heck you spell those words)! We'll have to do a family performance for you sometime. Andrew just walked in and he knows it too! :)

By the way... our major is not a joke as much as it may sound like it. Although we do tell fairy tales, in our own words, for 3-4 minutes..... who am I kidding? GO SPEECH! There's a reason half of the speech department consists of athletes.
