Stinkin Cold

Today was -2 degrees, at least t was at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon when I was driving past the bank. Good thing I bought this full-length down coat onSaturday (50% off holiday sale might I add) ! I would say that it has been my best buy of the year! Well , here's hoping that you are loving the weather you encountering. And if you are not enjoying it, here's to hoping you have a ull-legth down coat :)

Birthday Christmas Tree!

I have been bursting at the seams for the holidays to come, and here they are!! I recieved a 7 ft., pre-lit Christmas Tree for my birthday in addition to a plethora of ornaments.... I just can't stop gazing at it... On Friday and Saturday we found ourselves at Macy's and Jo Ann Fabric. I found TONS of great ornaments for 50% off!!!!! LOVE IT!

My mom and I decorated most of the tree (with my Dad making sure the ornaments we symetrical:) on Friday, while jordan was in Billings..but once he was back we did a Tree Lighting Ceremony and had him put the angel on top! I just love this tree and thank you everyone who contributed to us having it! P.S. Whit, the Christmas Brick-A-Brack goes wonderfully with my new holiday collection of stuff!

Thanksgiving Visit!

I was so thankful to have my parents come and visit for Thanksgiving/Birthday! They drove out on Wednesday and arrived just as I was getting off work! Here was out yummy turkey as it was being cooked to perfection!

Taking a break from Turkey Day to open presents...

On Saturday, we had planned to drive to Missoula (about 1 1/2 hrs. away) to do some shopping and whatnot, but a storm came in and made that roads yucky...So, we did some shopping here in town, and then hunkered down inside the house with some chili! Later we went to Jordan's hockey game, which thay won 8-2!!! It was a ton of fun! Overall, it was a cold, snowy, relaxing and mellow Thanksgiving...and we were so glad to family here to spend it with us! We love you mom and dad, and thank you again for driving out to see us in the Big Sky State!!!!

Well, we're new at this!

Jordan and I apologize for the mix up........ Today is not Ben-Ben's Birthday, but MAXWELLS!!!! A combination of mixed up information and an air-head moment got Benjamin an early birthday greeting!

Going to Billings

Jordan and I are driving to Billings this afternoon! I haven't ever gone to an away game, so we thought it would be fun to go to Billings together today. It takes about 3-4 hours to get there, so we had better get going! Talk to you all soon!

What up Gov?

Today I got a call at work from the Governor's assistant to see if he could get his hair cut...I said yes. I'm nice that way :)

Anywho, Thanks to Jody for informing me that Montana's Governor is a Colorado State university Graduate ! So I chatted with him today about Colorado and he was telling me that a while ago he was having lunch with Bill Ritter and Roy Romer and that they were both CSU grads! He was off to catch a flight to Africa or Washington, or somewhere, I can't remember.

That's my news for the day...

Excitement Mounting!

I am so excited for Thanksgiving/Birthday/Holiday Season that I can hardly stand it! Like Whitney, I am SO excited to start decorating!

So excited that I asked for this for my birthday....that way I can put it up the day after Thanksgiving!

Poor Baby Wallace

Our special little boy has caught Kennel Cough :( When Jill was here to visit, Wallace started having a bad raspy cough and it got progressivly worse and worse ... Being the fairly new doggie parents that we are, we were worried sick and took him to the vet. He probably got it from his monthly trip to the spa (Petco). We have to give him two pills three times a day, stuffed in cheese or bread. Wallace has got it figured out though, eating the cheese and/or bread and at the last minute spitting the pill out! Little stinker!


When Jill was here we went looking for the river (as in A River Runs Through It) and found this lake instead! Canyon Ferry Lake to be exact...
It was really pretty and fun to enjoy MT's nature!

Sadly, the crocodile costume could not be found. I wore it three years in a row, fun is over. I'm married, and the fun is over. :)


We had four doorbell rings, count 'em F-O-U-R . This picture is what was left after our four trick-or-treaters... We kept saying "The next trick-or-treater gets the whole stash." No one else came. :(

More Montana Fun!

On Saturday night we went to Jordan's Bighorn Halloween game! It was a lot of fun and the best crowd I've seen all year! Jill and each had a walkman to listen to jordan while we watch the game in person...I've got this down to a science! This is Mike Butters atop the Zamboni throwing tee-shirts and candy to the crowd..... If Maxwell gets to come visit, we can probably arrange for him to sit on the Zamboni ;)
