Busy week of adulthood...

This week has been exhausting, but good!

I regret to inform you all that i have no pictures for this post. My darling Jordan had to take the camera to his away game saying, "incase i want to take pictures". I will bet any of you that there have been no pictures taken...anyone?

After training for two hours on Saturday, I jumped right in this week. For the first time in my whole life i have worked five consecutive, all day shifts! I don't know if I should be congratulated or what...it's weird. Jordan also worked everyday and had two games this weekend (they just lost their away game:( ) We are bonafide adults. I really do like the people I am working with, which is good seeing as how i will be seeing A LOT of them!

Jordan and I have been having a "date night" everyweek. It's kinda funny b/c every night is a sort of date night, b/c we dont know that many people yet! But, back to the point. Our official date night took us to SilverStar of all places... SO SO SO GOOD! Whoever comes to visit get s to come to SilverStar, so be planning trip bc it is so good.

I will post pics once jordan gets home with the camera, and Ill post all the neat pictures he didnt take :)

WHITNEY aka BIRTHDAY GIRL!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Sister-in-law, Whitney. You are only as old as you feel, which is good for you:) You are like the youngest 28 year-old there is and I feel like the oldest 21 year-old, maybe that's why we get along so well! I wish you everything good that 28 has to offer! You have truly blessed my life with a friendship that is irreplaceable. I miss you so very much and cannot wait to come home to see you guys! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ONE OF MY VERY FAVORITE PEOPLE!!!

You're so silly ! PS ... IT's not until Tuesday, but I'm just getting a move on!

Weekend Recap !

Okay so things are rapidly progessing here in MT...
After two weeks of sitting around and applying for jobs, Jordan and I are part of the Helena Work-Force...

I decided to take a job at Sugar Salon as their Front Desk Coordinator and my boss, Laura George would eventually like to move me up to a manager/assistant type of role. It pays well and will give me a creative outlet as she is leaving some fun projects up to me! I am excited to start, but not super excited about having to be an adult and work five days a week :( It's got to happen sometime... But come spring time I will either re-enroll at CSU or take some classes at Carrol College to chip away at my last year of school...then time to get a "real" job!

Jordan is indeed working at SilverStar SteakCompany . I have had the luxury of tasting some of the food that jordie brings home and it is GOOD! It really is tasty and it is such a nice restaurant. Lucky for me, I work two shops down from here so I can go visit Jordan for lunch sometimes !!

Jordan had his second game last night (thank you for tuning in everyone who did). Although the line cut out a couple of times, he was JAZZED about how it went. He got several interviews (he said the young players were pumped about doing interviews, but then got shy when behind the mic, I htought that was cute) We lost the game, but it was still a fun time.
I helped out in the boxoffice b/c they needed me, so that was fun to get to know some more people and Butter's wife, Katie gave me the town gossip when certain people would come through the line...it was pretty funny. I will be working most of the Saturday games, but I need to get a walk-man so that I can listen to jordie in my ears while im working! Otherwise we will stay up 'til 2 am listening to it again...

Good stuff. Im glad that we have things to do now and my next post will highlight the hilarity that is Helena, MT!
Here's some William Wallace sweetness for you!

I wish....

...YOU a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I'm not sure anyone in the world has as beautiful cousin as I do. Maybe you do, but I doubt it. She's so great. And it is her birthday! So, as sad as I am that I cannot come have fun with you on your birthday, I am happy knowing that garry and your mommy will treat you right for your big day! I love you Cousin!
I wish that I was in a box, on my way to CO to have birthday cake with you, but I am not :(
I know your wondering where on earth did she find a picture of herself in a box? Freshman year of college we had a shipment of some sort and thought it fun to play. If I remember correctly I jumped off a top bunk, into the box...thanks for the pic melissa.

thats besides the purpose.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY COUSIN AND FRIEND LINDSEY PAIGE!! I LOVE YOU!!!

Our Weekend!

Besides jordan's away game on Friday (it was so weird to have him come home at 6 am), we had a fairly uneventful weekend...

This week Jordan starts at SilverStar Steakhouse, he trains everyday this week during the lunch shift and then he has the home opener on Saturday night! I'm excited for that!

As for me, I have another interview with Wells Fargo tomorrow morning. I have also applied to several other receptionist/secretarial jobs, and to Sugar Salon, the only really nice hair salon in town. Sugar is hiring a full time receptionist and they pay pretty well. So, needless to say, I hope that this week is good for the job hunt and that I may have some options... I'm getting pretty stinkin' antsy to have something to do

We are both chomping at the bit to meet people and have regualr schedules, hopefully that will begin this week!

Jordan's Debut

Right now I am listening to Jordan on the radio... bighornshockey.com can take you there too!
I have been listening to this with Rachel Ray's $40 a Day in the background...I turned her up for a minute to hear what she was talking about and forgot about the game.
Then this totally smooth play-by-play voice caught my attention back and I had a moment where I realized that this really great voice is my husband, and he is on the radio...
it makes it worth it. Worth moving and changing and all that comes with that.

So here's how it works, Jordan left this morning at 9:30 am to get on the bus. The bus is a charter bus with the teams logo on the side. I texted Jordan at about 1:30 and asked him if the bus was stinky yet, and he said no, so that's good.
They traveled to Cody, WY which is about 5 hours away. After the game they will drive straight back and will be home around 5 or 6 am... Long day for just one game. If any of you have any questions about how anything works or how anything is going, let me know! His next game will be next Saturday and is a home game. I will be attending the game, so no sappy, during-the-game post! BYE BYE! Go RAMS, ALL OF THEM!

Pretty Cute, for an alien.

Okay, so I am an out-of-the-closet pop culture freak.
Yes, I bought the new Vanity Fair magazine (although I am strictly a People girl) just to see pics of Tom and Kate's baby Suri (a 22 page spread, phohtographed in Telluride, YAY CO!) . I may get in trouble for re-printing these photos without permission, but it's okay, I'll just have my People magazine subscribtion forwarded to jail...
I want to share these because I regretfully think she is really really adorable... What do you think?

I know some of you are rolling your eyes at me right now, but you are secretly glad that you didn't spend the $4.50 , and I did. Anywho, enjoy the pics of this alien child, and remember that it's not Suri's fault that her dad is a lunatic...

Bragging rights are OURS!! So exciting! Jordan and I got to watch it on our computer and our neighbors may think we're the crazies next door, oh well! Thank you to those of you who called and texted during the game...we felt like we were there! Kinda. Nothing compares to being there, with your friends, but we won and thats enough for us! Have a safe night celebrating, unless you had too much celebrating before hand! We love you and "We're Proud to Be C-S-U RAMS!!!" peace out. we're going to go see Invincible .. (thanks to Tammi's reccomendation;)

P.F. Changs (Centerra not Helena)

PF Changs was so good, and so was the coffee afterwards (thanks Aunt Gail!) thanks agian for driving up to meet us, we love and miss you!

Photos Before we Moved!

These were taken at first home game for CSU...against Webber State... we killt 'em.
I went to breakfast with Rachel and Cansas!
Tailgating with Brian and Shelley

And the wonderful Whitney!

Okay, here i was trying to photograph the fact that this was my first over-21 bracelet at a rams game, not as much the bottle of beer (after i took this pic, i got in trouble for having a glass bottle)

Rachel is so cool, and the lightest girl to toss in the air, but mostly just cool.

Me and Rach.

Jordan and my last game for a while....

Here's one i just thought of:
Don't Screw this Up !!!

We love you Rammies!!! Peace out!

This n' that!

First of all, Jordan and I are having TV troubles and slight phone troubles.
-Essentially we won;t have TV until wed. So we are desperately trying to find a bar that will carry the GAME!!!! Don't anyone worry we will find it!!

-Sorry to those of you who have been disconnected from our cell phones, we do have a home phone number now, so let me know if you would like it...ps we will be getting a new cell service soon

-GO RAMMIES!!!!! I wish so badly that we could be there for this game, but you might be able to hear us cheering form Helena!

P.S. Mom and Dad, Papa and Rose! Have fun at the Scottish Festival! I wish we could be there! Somebody eat some curly potatoes for me! Dad: may the best team win!

We're Here!

Jordan, Wallace, and I are somewhat moved into our "paired patio home" (duplex). Everything about the house is bigger than I was expecting(except for the kitchen) , which is cool. And there is TONS of storage in the garage and in our walk-in coat closet! So much to blog about!!! Here are some pics of the moving in process...
The disaterous kitchen/dining room area... i can't wait for the "after" pics!

The living room that is equally disasterous...

The sweet computer desk we decided to buy... we left FOCO owning three desks, gave one away, trashed one, and the one we actually came here with got damaged in the move, so the new sweet one!

Here we are! we'll take one outside tomorrow so you can see the outside of the place, don't get too excited, it's nothing special :)

My father-in-law, Jim, was generous enough to offer his help and trailer. So, my folks and Jim ,Jody and Whitney, and jordie and I packed up the trailer TO THE RIM! Thanks mom and dad for spending your labor day helping us out!

Jim, Jordan and I each drove a vehicle out to MT... We literally COULD NOT have made it out here without all of your help, all of you! Jill also sent us with delicious goodies for the road! Really, thank you all SO SO SO SO SO much for you well wishes and your help, we love you so very much! Hope you've recovered from your long week, Jim! and thanks again for everything.
